Natalia was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She obtained her B.A. in Literature in English from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
At 23, she moved to Oregon for graduate school, and in 2020, obtained her MFA in Creative Writing, Poetry, from Oregon State University.
Natalia currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband, Daniel, and their two cats, Esteban and Soya. Besides writing poetry, Natalia enjoys cooking, video games, and reading and writing fiction.
